Dr. Chih-Hsiao Tsai serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Information Education at National Taipei University of Education, with deep specialization in data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI — applied to instructional design and cross-disciplinary industry collaboration. He brings 19+ years of software and database systems development experience, fluent in Python, Java, and SQL. His research focuses on how generative AI, agentic AI, and human-AI collaboration mechanisms can help teachers optimize instructional design and improve students' computational thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on capabilities in authentic learning contexts.
Beyond academic research and teaching, he is actively engaged in AI talent development, teacher professional development, and industry outreach. Recent work includes designing and delivering generative AI in curriculum, data structures and algorithms instruction, Vibe Coding, and Agentic AI workshops — serving university faculty, K–12 teachers, and scholars from business and finance backgrounds. His Prompt Architect pedagogy — combining gamification and PBL — embeds the principle that “learners retain ownership over judgment and responsibility, while AI accelerates execution and implementation” — and runs through his teaching, training, and industry collaboration work.
Bringing together academic research, teaching innovation, and industry experience, Dr. Tsai has led and participated in multiple NSTC and Ministry of Education research projects — covering adaptive scaffolding and cognitive load in generative-AI-assisted programming education. He has also driven enterprise automation projects using RAG, n8n, and LangGraph to build financial reconciliation, RAG-powered food safety services, AI-agent marketing augmentation, and AIGC video generation workflows — translating AI from concept into real classroom and business applications.
